Last night was a pretty rough one. Davis seems to be getting some very painful gas, we're not sure if it is caused by something Kristen ate, or what, but it caused Davis to have 3 one hour screaming sessions last night. Kristen's mom was a great help and between the three of us, we were able to all get a reasonable amount of sleep. Davis just seems to need to work the gas out of his system, then he calms down and go to sleep. Today, Kristen is staying away from cow's milk to see that helps (a very common cause) of gas.
We've had what feels like a busy day today. I ran to target/costco/best buy for an amazing amount of baby supplies and Kristen and Peg went to Isis maternity with the stroller to make some returns, get some advice and buy yet more baby stuff. The result of these trips, and others over the last week is that Davis has officially conquered the house (no surprise). I'm sure we'll be making more trips over the next few days.
Kristen's dad arrives tonight, so we'll have one more pair of hands to hold the little guy (I'm not sure you can have to many at 2 in the morning, 4 in the morning and 6 in the morning). We're going to order some food from a local resturant and celebrate Davis' 1 week birthday and Peg's birthday.
