Distractions

I learned today that I am now not effective at working anywhere. It seems like such a waste to start anything significant at work as it might have to be abandoned at any moment. Today I spent the whole time at work staring either at my computer or at the to-do list I had made but didn't want to have any part of. Finally, I decided it was not worth my time to be there, so I went to the movies! My friend Sonya was nice enough to play hookie with me and we went and saw "He's just not that into you", a movie I could safely see without John, and a perfect prescription for distraction.

One good thing came out of my going to the office today, which was I was able to rush to the medical center to turn in the insurance form to add baby Naegle to my insurance. They ask that you do that the month before they are expected. Oops. We're all good though, they just need his name and birthday within 30 days after being born in order to add him to my insurance. This makes me wonder if there are other important things we're forgetting to do and junior knows it and is waiting until we have all our ducks in a row.

John met me at our local Mexican restaurant for dinner, which absolutely hit the spot. Right now, he's making pizzas to freeze for later.
