John left me no choice tonight, but to finish the baby blanket. It's a very simple design with patches on the front and a doggy theme on the back, all in flannel. It's going to be a good play blanket. Talking about play..we pulled out the gymini mat my mom gave us at the shower and before we knew it, Lilly as curled up sleeping on it, cuddled between the pillow and the monkey.
I had a meeting with my advisor today and was surprised to find out I was nominated for a departmental fellowship. I actually have no idea what this means (as in, when I find out if I receive it or how long it's for)..but I was very flattered! Yes, that was a meeting on a Sunday, I feel as though I've officially worked so much extra the last 6months, that I've already made up for maternity leave. Tomorrow I declare a day off.
