Water Kids

Our kids love the water.  Bath time is really just play in the water time (for Davis too) and they love their Wednesday swimming lessons and evenings where we can escape to the town pool.  We've been going to the Tower Groves farmers market for the last few Saturdays where at about 10:00 they fill up a wading pool for kids to play in.  Here are some pictures from the farmers market and the pool.

Dinner Commentary

I have this running commentary in my head when I'm making dinner.  I'm a contestant on a reality cooking show: average people who have to get dinner on the table within 1 hour.  The challenge: 2 19 month olds and a 4 1/2 year old are loose in the house.

There are a lot of scoring rules: you lose points when somebody cries or gets hurt in another room.  You lose if somebody is in danger in the kitchen.

Sprinkler Pictures

Our weather has turned hot.  This whole week is going to be in the mid to upper 90s.  Last night, we finished dinner a little early and put the sprinkler out on the law.  The kids had a wonderful time in the water and petting the neighborhood dogs who were out for their walks.  Alex has no fear at all of dogs.  He gave a golden retriever, easily 3 times as big as him, a great big hug.
