Winter at the Zoo

We love the St. Louis Zoo: its free, its huge and the kids always have fun.  However, it gets about 3 million visitors a year and in the summer, it can be a very busy place.  We love going in the winter: the crowds are far less and many of the animals are more interactive.  This weekend, we went out to breakfast then to the zoo.

We had a wonderful, 20 to 30 minute, mostly private interaction with Mia, one of the Sea Lions.
