Daddy in Time out

Note: This post sat as a draft for a very long time.  I think I have the publication date right, but it might have been October 2010, not June 2010.

While John was cooking dinner last week, and I was still on my way home from work, our cat Domino decided to help himself to some chicken on the counter.  In the process, he knocked the dish off the counter, breaking it and generally adding to the confusion that is our normal weeknight.  John, in frustration, decided to lock Domino in our bedroom until dinner was over.  When Davis asked, John said "Domino is in trouble and he's in time out".  Later that night, Davis pushed John into our bedroom and closed the door.  When I asked him why, he said "Daddy's in trouble".  He couldn't tell me why Daddy was in trouble and John didn't seem to mind some peace and quiet in time out.
