A day off

Today, Kristen and I both took the day off from work. With our daycare closed, at least one of us had to take the day off so we decided to make it a three day weekend. Unfortunately, it didn't feel like much of a vacation day. We spent most of the day cleaning the kitchen trying to eradicate the Indian Meal moths that have been pestering us for a long time. To give you an idea of how much we cleaned just the kitchen: I pulled the stove out of the cabinets and cleaned under it. If it doesn't solve the problem, at least we have a fantastically clean kitchen.

We did have some fun. This morning, we took brunch to our friends Josh and Courtney who have an 18 month old and a 1 month old. After cleaning we went for a short walk in Menotomy Rocks Park in Arlington. We also made pumpkin-pie ice cream, which I can report is awesome.
