Week Off

I'm fortunate to be able to take this week off of work. This is my last week of treatment and our first week without grandparents helping, so it seemed like a great opportunity to spend some time with Davis and Kristen. Yesterday we went for a long walk around Fresh Pond in Cambridge and visited a potential day care. We liked the day care a lot -- it is an in-house day care just around the corner from us. Most of the instruction is in Spanish, which we like, and we liked the provider. We were also encouraged by the fact that there are other PHds and Post-Docs with their kids at this daycare. We have plans to visit a lot more day cares this week and are encouraged that we'll find something for the fall.

We went for a nice walk on Sunday, down to the lake, up to Starbucks, Ace Hardware, then back along the river.
