Soccer Camp

For the last 5 days, Davis went to a soccer camp at Kirkwood Park.  Hey had a good time, and liked it more at the end than the start.  It was really good for him to get out and play outside each morning.

Naegle Family Reunion

This last week, Davis and I traveled to Big Bear Lake in California for a Naegle Family Reunion. We flew out Wednesday and back Sunday and in between had a great time with family and the outdoors.

Some of the highlights were:

• Playing in the dirt and rocks around the cabin
• Lots of family time
• Making mud pies with cousins
• Blowing bubbles and kids making their own bubble solution
• Painting toe nails
• Going canoeing with Davis for the first time
• Swimming and playing in a pool
• Marshmallows and S'mores
• Dutch oven chicken
• A 1 mile hike through the forest
• Playing at the Big Bear Discovery Center
• Panning for "Gold"
• Lots and Lots and Lots of playtime with Allison and Melanie
• Celebrating Melanie's 4th birthday
