A surprise snow

Last night, when I went to bed, it was starting to snow.  This was a big surprise as there was nothing in the forecast.  When the cats woke me up at 4:57 for their breakfast I was very excited to see 4 inches of snow on the ground.  We had a great time playing in it today.  Davis probably spent 3 hours outside today and Evan and Alex had their first tastes of snow (literally).  Davis and I even built a cave in the front yard out of all the snow we piled up from the driveway.

Davis' First Lego Set

Last weekend, I got Davis his first lego set.  It took him a long time to get it together: he had to find and put every piece but he did great as long as he wasn't too tired.

Nighttime conversation with Davis

Davis has been sick for a couple days and not sleeping very well at night.  Last night, he woke up at midnight and when I was putting him back in bed, I asked him "Do you know why you woke up?".  I thought I might get an answer like "I had a nightmare" or "I had to pee", but instead, I got "My stars and moon were off" (lights in his room that go off after about 30 minutes).
