Davis and the twins

Davis has been doing a lot better with the twins in the last couple weeks.  We think being home with them during the day has helped a lot.

First Tooth

This weekend we were a little surprised to discover that Alex has his first tooth!  Usually babies get their two front teeth first, but he has one of his top right teeth.  Its just poked through and doesn't seem to have bothered him too much.

New Pictures

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, Davis goes to our wonderful daycare.   Since our nanny leaves and 5:00 and Kristen and Davis get home around 5:30, this usually gives me 30 minutes of playtime with Alex and Evan on those days.  I love this time with my little boys and yesterday we spent it out on the front lawn doing bubbles and enjoying a wonderful evening.

Evan's Scream

Alex and Evan are changing and growing very fast.  They have very distinct personalities and this is never clearer than when they are hungry or tired.  I would put Alex in the normal category as far as this goes: he cries, he gets upset when he gets very hungry or tired.  However, Evan is in his own category; he screams like a banshee when he is hungry or tired.  Tonight, while I was trying to put him to bed, I recorded some audio that does not do his scream justice so we would forever remember the ungodly scream that comes out of such a small baby.  Kristen and I a little concerned that we won't be able to tell when he is hurt or in pain we cannot imagine another level of screaming.  It will be interesting to see how this scream translated into his later personality.

For posterity in 10 years or so, when I next want to hear his scream, here is the video I captured tonight.
